Project Auditing

Managing costs on a project to ensure it is financially successful can be a lot easier said than done, especially when you're busy and managing a number of competing deadlines.

We specialise in project auditing to help you identify any issues which may be impacting your programme or project profitability.  We can then either work with you to manage any issues or equip you with the skills and tools to take control and get your project back on track.

Issues can often stem from gaps in site processes, un-captured variations or shortfalls in progress claims or payments.

Auditing a project can help you get back on track by:

  • identifying contract versus variation work, quantifying and pricing variations and ensure there are no contractual issues stopping you from getting paid

  • identifying and managing costs to improve cashflow and budget outcomes

  • auditing site progress to ensure progress claims reflect site progress,

  • identifying possible contractual compliance shortfalls which are stopping you from getting paid.

Uglystick Contracting have been involved in many areas of construction, across small, mid and top tier builders and have faced many project challenges.  These experiences have given us a unique ability to be able to jump into an existing or new project quickly and work with the team to identify any shortfalls or needs and attend to them quickly and efficiently.

Outsourcing this part of the work can bring a fresh pair of eyes to the situation and minimise any workload impacts to your existing team.
